  • Does the price include liftpass?
    Yes, it includes Saturday's liftpass.
  • Can I practice the track beforehand?
Yes you can. The track is open and on Friday all racers can get a lift ticket for only $30. You can also extend your trip and take up the $30 lift ticket offer on Sunday. You can purchase them at the Thredbo sports shop. We will provide them with the current rider list.
  • I heard there is a downhill race on the same weekend - can I enter both?
Absolutely! We are running the RedAss Downhill on the same weekend so the place will be buzzing with gravity MTBing all weekend. You can purchase the extra entry as an add-on during the registration process.
  • Do I need a full face helmet to race the Flow track?
No you don't, a regular helmet is sufficient. However you do need a full face helmet for the DH track.

2017 Championships - Kempsey

Fast and flowy with a truckload of berms, an easy ride back to the start and a surprising amount of elevation. Ask anyone who has ridden there in the last 2 years and they will tell you how much fun the trails are. KMORC - the local club has put in a lot of work into the trails to make them even better this year. The plan is to have 4 trails that we race on Saturday afternoon and again doing the same 4 on Sunday morning giving you a total of 8 runs.

The final trails will be announced only a few days before the race. Here is a trackmap of the area:

2017 Round 1 - Killingworth

The trails are located a little south of Newcastle.

Starting at Wakefield Rd, turn at the sign to Killingworth onto The Broadway.
Follow The Broadway into Killingworth itself and turn right into The Boulevard.
The dirt road turnoff to the Killingworth trails is 450m on the left, before you reach the power sub-station. From there follow the road and signs, under the freeway, to the event centre some 1-1.2Km in.
Keep in mind, the road in is un-sealed and will be rough in places. If you don’t feel comfortable driving on this style of road you can always park at The Boulevard and ride in.
