We are super excited to announce that the Shimano 100 Cross Country Marathon will be on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Traditionally held in September, this iconic event will now take place later in the year, offering riders a unique opportunity to experience the trails of UC Stromlo Forest Park under different seasonal conditions.
The Shimano 100 Marathon invites mountain bikers of all levels to conquer the renowned ‘giant monster circuit’—a nearly 30km loop featuring over 80% singletrack terrain.
Participants can choose their challenge
- Challenge Single: 1 lap
- Adventure Double: 2 laps
- Epic Triple: 3 laps
- 100 Miler: 5 laps, starting at sunrise for the ultimate endurance test
The event maintains its family-friendly atmosphere, complete with kids’ races, engaging activities, delicious food, coffee, and a Euro-style feed zone to keep riders energized.
