Gravity trail access for non-racers

Saturday 6th – Monday 8th March
The FOX Superflow will use Copperhead, Outlaw, Abom, Misty Twist, Trigger Happy and Clancy’s Run. Those trails will remain open to general riders at the same time as competition riders.

The unique race format of the FOX Superflow series gives its competitors three days to complete the six trails at a timed race pace, so we don’t envisage there will be super heavy race traffic on any of the trails across the event schedule. The event has a very flexible race format, racers can choose the order in which to complete up to 30 race runs in total across the 3 days.

General riders not in the competition will be asked to swing past the RTE rego tent and simply let event staff know where they are heading to, you can also then get an update as to where most of the ‘race traffic’ is on each day to assist in navigating to the less populated trails. For trail access on Friday refer to the schedule below.

Friday 5th March

0800 – 0815 Marshalls Briefed and deployed
0830 – 0845 Compulsory Rider Safety Briefing
0900 – 1330 Racing (“Copperhead”, “Family Trail”, “Soul Revival”, “One Tree Hill”, and “Gang Gangs” are closed for racing. All other trails are open to the public)
1345 – Course sweep deployed
1345 – 1415 Presentations Village Square
1500 – 1700 Course reconfigured for Saturday

    1. Top section of Copperhead finishing near kids trails

(Family Trail, Soul Revival, One Tree Hill, Gang Gangs, Mt Buller Epic Trail, Delitite River Trail, River Spur Trail, Stirling Circuit Rd, Cornhill Rd, Split Rock, Family Trail). Trail access: general riders NOT signed up in the Gran Fondo-Style ride are asked to be respectful of event participants out on track and organisers will convey the same sentiment to its riders.
0900 – 1600Racing Fox Superflow (ABOM, Copperhead, Outlaw and Yellow post)
1030 – 1600Racing Fox Superflow (Misty Twisty, Clancy’s Run, Trigger Happy)

1800 – 2100 DJ Nige “Rocky Trail Radio” Twilight Set venue TBD

    Trails used:
    • ABOM, Copperhead, Outlaw, Yellow post, Misty Twisty, Clancy’s Run, and Trigger Happy
    • All trails will be open from 9am until 4pm
  • RACING: Rocky Trail Epic Run
    Trails used: Burke Street (underneath chairlift); Summit Trail all to the way to the top and back down Summit Nature Walk, dropping into Copperhead and back to the event village.
    • 4pm. Mass start. Approx. 8km run from Village Square to Summit and back.

Monday 8th March
