Canberra’s Bent Spoke Brewing Co. supporting the Stromlo Round

The Bent Spoke Brewing Co. will be supporting the Stromlo Round of the Shimano MTB GP Series this year!

As a “Canberra-born and brewed” beer, it is a perfect reward for our racers as they come across the finish line after four or seven hours in the saddle at Stromlo Forest Park.

We’re very excited that the Bent Spoke crew will be on-site themselves, giving you a chance to buy some beer from their stand throughout the day – what a nice take-home present for your loved ones. And, don’t forget, Father’s Day is just around the corner too!

And, while you’re in town, why not check out their Pub in Braddon? Here’s the link to the website!

We welcome the Bent Spoke Brewing Co. into the Rocky Trail family of supporters – Cheers!

Some tasting notes to get you into the spirit of things:

Barley Griffin Pale Ale:
Mild cloudy Australian Pale Ale. Soft fruity aromas and light biscuity malt giving a nice light mouth feel. Easy drinking and great on a hot summer’s day after mowing the lawn.

Crankshaft IPA:
Similar to a West Coast IPA. Floral nose with notes of citrus and pine. Medium bodied with a nice punch of hops and a solid malt finish. A great beer for lovers of big full flavoured brews – it cranks!
