Australia’s very own Junior Downhill Champion of only a few weeks’ standing, Tegan Molloy, from Jindabyne has been confirmed to race at this weekend’s RedAss NSW/ACT Downhill State Series finale at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra. Elite Women’s series leader and downhill old-hand Sarah Booth from Newcastle will be one of Molloy’s strongest competitors.
It will be the final event of the three-race series and this year’s official Downhill State Champions across various skill and age divisions will be announced on Sunday. One of the strongest contenders in the Elite Men’s category is current series leader and local club racer, Tim Eaton from Isaacs ACT, who is expected to dominate the field on his home track.
