Congratulations and massive Cheers to our “A-Team” Jo Parker and Bob Morris who were nominated in the 2020 Outdoor Queensland Awards and were awarded the official FINALIST CERTIFICATE during the Virtual Awards Ceremony on 30 October. Jo and Bob were nominated among incredibly accomplished fellow Event Managers in the “Brisbane City Council Outdoor Event Award” category recognises individuals, organisations or committees that have developed and managed a significant outdoor recreation event.

We nominated them with the Shimano MTB Grand Prix Race at Logan’s Daisy Hill MTB Trails which was held in August this year.

The Brisbane City Council Outdoor Event Award

Jo and Bob have been leading the charge to expand the Rocky Trail Entertainment events and brand in Queensland this year. They have been doing an exceptional job, especially in the challenging Covid-19 events environment. With a strong following building up in their South East Queensland ‘home base’ they have delivered engaging and successful events as far North as Townsville and Mackay.

These two never seize to impress us with their enthusiasm and passion in all they do for the mountain bike racing and riding community.

However, as much as we are proud of the achievements of our team, we’d also like to thank our Rocky Trail crew and racers at the Shimano MTB GP in Logan and across Queensland! Thank you for supporting us and racing with us and for your enthusiastic feedback along the way. You are part of the ‘Rocky Trail community & tribe’ now and we can’t wait to bring you the 2021 line-up of events!

Soon, it will be way easier to travel again for all of us and we will be able to share all the awesome racing experiences across the many exciting venues and trail networks that we have secured for you across QLD, NSW, VIC and the ACT!

For now, may we share some of the official videos from the awards night with you.

Give it up for Jo & Bob.
