Get MAD about superflow racing!
What a treat being invited to race the “MAD” trails at Rowallan Park by the local Mackay & District (MAD) Mountain Bike Club! As one of the original mountain bike clubs founded in Australia in the late eighties, these guys are serious about their trails and the Superflow race stages will feature awesome rock features, radical berms and all three will start in one spot!
We are currently planning a Rocky Trail Academy Schools Comp on the Friday before race day too – stay tuned for all the details!
Get ready for tropical superflow racing in Mackay, people!
Rowallan Park, home track of the MAD MTB Club – we are currently compiling track maps and all the details about the event.
More event info to follow soon – save the date for now and this is what it’s all about:
Race the way you ride.
FULL Saturday practice.
Race day Sunday.
UP TO 5 RACE RUNS OF EACH TRACK.
Fastest run counts.
You ride to the starts un-timed, which means you can spend all day together with mates, your partner or the junior frothers!
And then get ready for an absolute adrenaline rush as you smash down our superflow race tracks to hunt down those seconds for the win!
Within a set timing window you complete a set of timed race stages, which are predominantly downhill – the faster you go, the more challenging it gets! Whatever category you’re in – perfect for families, groups of mates and couples of different ages and riding preferences!
