Weather update 9am Friday: Race cancelled
No start order, no worries! The Fox Superflow is the series for those who are keen to take on an endurance challenge of a different kind! Riders of all ages and many different XC or gravity backgrounds race on ‘super-flowy’ singletrails for fun or are hunting down those seconds for the win.
We kick of the series at Thredbo MTB Park with a whole weekend of gravity racing! Thredbo is the ideal playground for gravity racers – enjoy the Alpine village atmosphere with accommodation options available right next to the event centre and mingle with fellow racers at the end of the day.
The Fox Superflow will take place on the Flow Trail with its fast traverses and awesome berms – practice on Saturday and racing on the Sunday! The RedAss Downhill racers will have their competition on the Saturday as well – check out the website and registration page for package deals to compete in both events! This is a standalone event and you can collect points for the series ranking!

- Does the price include liftpass?
Yes, it includes Sunday’s liftpass.
- Can I practice the track beforehand?
Yes you can. The track is open and on Friday and Saturday all racers can get a discounted lift ticket. You can purchase Friday’s ticket at the Thredbo sports shop and Saturday’s when registering online.
- I heard there is a downhill race on the same weekend – can I enter both?
Absolutely! We are running the RedAss Downhill on the same weekend so the place will be buzzing with gravity MTBing all weekend. You can purchase the extra entry as an add-on during the registration process.
- Do I need a full face helmet to race the Flow track?
No you don’t, a regular helmet is sufficient. However you do need a full face helmet for the DH track.
