There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to organising events. Those moving parts are once again shaken and rattled to bits by Covid and the uncertainties around being able to bring you the events and races that we all love.
So once again it is with a heavy heart that we must announce that effective immediately we will put all our events that are scheduled for the remainder of the year on hold.
With a bit of luck, we can reopen again in a few weeks in QLD, but until we know for sure we don’t want to promise anything. NSW and the ACT are likely to be affected for longer.
What does this mean for you if you have entered already for an upcoming event:
Most importantly you will get a race entry or refund for it once we move forward with our updated calendar. At this stage we are not able to tell you when that is, but we will keep you informed via our blog and newsletters.
Once a new date has been scheduled for a postponed event you will have to option to
- Race on the new date
- Transfer to another race
- Get a refund
We will be in touch with all registered riders then. It is possible – even likely – that we can hold some of our events on the originally planned date later in the year. However, at this stage it’s impossible to have certainty around that.
Please understand that we are not offering refunds right now, while we still don’t know how many – and how severely – races will be affected.
As this is not the first time we had to completely shut down Rocky Trail Entertainment because of the pandemic, we have learnt how to deal with setbacks like this. Just like the last time, mark my words when I say: WE WILL BE BACK!

Strange times indeed not just for us as business owners, employees and crew, but for everyone and our racers and supporters have certainly been on our minds a lot. So here we want to share some ideas that

Dear #rockytrailracers, It’s been a while since I had to write a general Covid blog about the ‘state of Rocky Trail’.
About nature, energy and connection… how to re-imagine our personal, business and mountain biking life as we know it. One of the people I have been following and looking up to has been one of our racers, Emily May, a psychologist. Did you know that she raced at the very first Jetblack 24 Hour at
