Rocky Trail is proudly supporting the brand-new JetBlack Racing Team! Fittingly the official team launch will be held at our JetBlack Cycling 24 Hour.
This team was started in a simple conversation this year between Martin Wisata, one of the Directors of Rocky Trail Entertainment and one of the founding MIA Dirt Riders Michael Brown. Martin wanted to sponsor the team in some way as in 2012 & 2013 the MIA Dirt Riders crew had grown from a handful of riders to over 30 competing in the Rocky Trail races with many riders ending up on the podium at every race, more discussions took place between a few of the riders and as the saying goes…” the rest is history”.
With over 45 riders now, ranging in age from 20 to over 60 these riders will compete in MTB races all over NSW with the main emphasis in competing in the 5 SHIMANO MTB Grand Prix races in 2014.
“We love supporting such grassroots growth in mountain biking”, said Juliane Wisata from Rocky Trail. “The JetBlack Racing Team sums up exactly what our company is all about and what we want our races to stand for: racing competitively, but having fun doing so, being inclusive of all kinds of riders who set themselves a goal to race and ride and having friends around you to support you and push you to be the best you can be.”
