The Jetblack Wild Wombat MTB Weekend returns to Mogo on the 7+8 August 2021, supported by the Eurobodalla Shire Council, with the Shimano MTB GP 4+6 Hour and another edition of the Rocky Trail Run.

Have you heard the news that the local Eurobodalla Shire Council has secured funding to build like a gazillion kilometers of trails in the region over the next few months?!?
We have raced the Deep Creek Dam loop since 2018 and are asking YOU to help us once again showcase the power and support of our Rocky Trail Community! Come and race this event knowing that this region is about to make your wildest MTB dreams come true! And that we will work hard to make sure we get to “entertain” you on those ‘rocky trails’ also in the future.
This is an amazing holiday destination, come early, stay longer, we say! Don’t forget to check out the Destination Guide for #rockytrailracers!
Want to enter but worried about restrictions? Don’t stress it, we’ve worked with everyone to date, whether its a transfer or refund. At this point, we are lucky that a short break was on the calendar, and we don’t have any necessity to move events now.

Sat: Shimano MTB GP 4+6 hour
This Shimano MTB GP is part of the Jetblack Wild Wombat Weekend in Mogo and we’ll be racing the Deep Creek Dam loop. It is a 4 and 6 hour cross-country race on a 9km loop for solo and relay pair classifications across all age groups.
It is the near perfect race track for a GP: fast, flowy and technical enough to be a good challenge! Our experience and feedback from riders about these trails have also been one of the puzzle pieces in sparking the movement for more trails, so let’s keep the momentum rolling! Literally!

Sun: Rocky Trail Run
Run the Deep Creek Dam loop 1x, 2x or 3x between 8am and 2pm! There are no start orders and we will set up the timing points so you can refuel (and even have a rest if you wish) in between laps.
Challenges:
- Single | 1 lap of the Dam Loop | 7km
- Double | 2 laps of the Dam Loop | 14km
- Triple | 3 laps of the Dam Loop | 21km
Super fun and scenic trails, there’s not too much elevation and we can’t wait to meet this year’s trail blazers! – Perfect to keep going from the GP or for those visiting friends and family members to have a go!
Destination: Eurobodalla
Come away with us! Visit the Eurobodalla! There is so much to see and do for your friends and family while you race and plenty to explore together too! Come early an stay longer, we say! – Lots of ideas and accommodation offers in our “Destination Guide for #rockytrailracers”!
