Join in the Bike Scavenger Hunt on the Central Coast this Spring!

The second Bike Scavenger Hunt is on across the Central Coast as part of this year’s Lakes Festival now! We invite you to explore the beautiful shores along the Central Coast Lakes and the Lakes Festival events on your bicycle!

Presented by Central Coast Council, the 10 day Lakes Festival from 8-17 November will feature a program of sporting, family, cultural, educational, art and live music events on and around our beautiful waterways.

What is this all about?

The Rocky Trail crew is one of the major private mountain bike and cycling events organisers in Australia. Since 2012 we have been based on the NSW Central Coast and in 2019 we are hosting the Central Coast MTB Festival and two of our flagship events at Ourimbah State Forest near Wyong, the home track of the local Central Coast MTB Club.

We love to explore our home on our bikes! We want to share that with fellow cyclists and that’s why we mapped some of the most popular routes!

For the Bike Scavenger Hunt 2019 as part of The Lakes Festival we picked some hot spots for cyclists all around the Central Coast where you can collect answers for the Bike Scavenger Hunt and record your answers online, including bicycle-friendly cafes and pretty lookouts as well as playgrounds and closer to the Lakes Festival in November, festival venues and events will be added.

What’s in it for you?

This is a fun activity for visitors and like last year we’d love for the locals to explore their home on bikes as well! Two local riders won the major prizes last year – read the whole story on our blog.

Again we have two bicycles up for grabs -the more hot spots and Lakes Festival events you visit, the more entries you collect for the draw! Entries are open NOW until 17 November 2018 at 6pm! The winner will be drawn on 18 November.
