Reach YOUR racing goal – a Wild Solo Challenge
Quite a few in the solo racing field will be aiming to win, however, the Jetblack Wild Wombat will offer all solo racers a ‘wild solo challenge’ too: you can chase YOUR personal goal of how many kilometers you aim to complete in the 12 hours of racing time. Tell us when you sign up online – this will be displayed on a screen at the event centre and our cheer squads can help you reach that goal!
So, if you’re a group of friends you could sign up as solo riders and ride all day and into the night TOGETHER and not worry about lap times or general or even category classifications too much, but help each other chase that kilometer goal. Now there’s an idea for a social kind of race that will still make you push yourself.
A celebration of MTB riding and racing – the perfect MTB-getaway!
We have invited Mike Tomalaris, TV presenter and journalist at SBS and Australia’s ‘voice of cycling’ to join us as one of our MC’s at the Jetblack Wild Wombat, so you’ll get that ‘Grande Tour-feeling’ when you cross the line! You can race solo or in relay-teams of up to six riders in the racing time of 12 hours.
Free Feedzone included!
The race will have a dedicated feed zone where we will have electrolytes, gels, fruits and yummy snacks ready for you.
Race photos included!
All your race photos will be included in the entry fee – you can download them from the OuterImage.com.au online portal after the race for FREE.

Our 2018 event jersey is Made in Germany by our clothing partner owayo. We will have the design for you shortly and you can order it for $50 via the merchandising section when you sign up online!
