Hayden Stead and Georgina von Marburg claim first Superflow® PRO titles at Mt Taylor

Rocky Trail Entertainment hosted the Fox Superflow® at Mt Taylor in East Gippsland on the weekend and the gravity enduro race offered 3 timed race stages in the general classification. For the first time, the event offered a Superflow® PRO Stage with an additional fourth stage that had to be completed. The categories are based on the EWS format with Elite, U21 and Master 40+ racers competing as well as an open eBike category.

Over 200 competitors from all over VIC as well as NSW were at the start and the outright and Elite winners of the general Fox Superflow® and PRO classifications are Hayden Stead from Melbourne and Georgina von Marburg from Bright.

The local U17 racer Huddo Tarling placed 2nd outright and won the U21 Pro Stage category. The Fox Superflow® U19’s winner was Taj Carter-Smith from Narellan in NSW, claiming third outright. Carter-Smith is also the runner up in the U21 Pro Stage ahead of Nicholas Banson from Tambo Upper. In the women’s, Hayley Dean from Bairnsdale was the runner up to Georgina von Marburg in the Pro Stage. In third outright in the general Fox Superflow® was Supermaster 50+ racer Lian Day from Ringwood.

The next Fox Superflow® races will take place in Canberra this weekend and at Toowoomba and Nerang later in May.
