Rocky Trail Academy launches in Canberra
Students from St Mary Mackillop College claimed the Canberra Schools Champion title at the inaugural Rocky Trail Academy at Stromlo Forest Park. Almost 100 students in three secondary school age categories competed on three time race tracks, putting their riding ability to the test across three skill areas – Endurance, Speed and Technical Skills.
The fastest rider among the Boys was Lewis Allbon (Lyneham High School, Y9-10 category) with 7:12.6 and in the Girls Charlotte Alexander (Radford College, Y7-8 category) in 9:27.1.
The Queensland line-up is starting this Friday at Toowoomba and a NSW event has been confirmed for later in the year.
