Race report: Round 3 at Lithgow’s Pony Express Track

Joel Willis wins elite men’s race and Ronja Hill-Wright claims 2015 RedAss DH NSW/ACT State Series titles in Lithgow

Ronja Hill-Wright from Weston (ACT) is the 2015 RedAss Downhill NSW State Series winner of the elite women, claiming the title after two consecutive race wins in Lithgow and Greenvalleys this month. Fellow Canberran Thomas Crimmins was absent from the final round, but had already locked in his series wins with two seeding and race wins in the first two series rounds earlier this year. Joel Willis took out the elite men’s race win in Lithgow, advancing to second overall in the series ahead of the Central Coast’s  Jake Newell. In a tight decider in the U19’s, Joshua Clark from Newcastle claimed the series ahead of Wollongong’s Harry Parsons and Wyong’s Duke Millington.
