Imagine cruising on super smooth, compacted roads that feel like popping champagne bubbles. The first Effervelo event takes you on a gravel adventure through the breathtaking Australian landscape of the Brindabella Ranges just 30 min outside of Canberra!
EFFERVELO – Rocky Trail’s take on Gravel Riding
Established as one of Australia’s main private mountain bike event promoters, we have been racing on rocky trails since 2008. With the new Effervelo Champagne Gravel Quest we are thrilled to embark on an exciting new chapter, venturing onto the “rocky roads”.
Effervelo is a supported, un-timed ride with three distances on low-traffic gravel roads.
Effervelo, meaning “the quest for effervescence,” shall capture the excitement and buzz of gravel riding on Champagne Gravel surfaces. We know the importance of the social side and the immersive nature experiences that gravel riding offers. This is for experienced gravel guns, roadies who are up for an adventure plus mountain bikers who are curious about those wide open gravel roads!
