About Rocky Trail
Rocky Trail Entertainment is one of the major private outdoor events promoters in Australia. Founded by Juliane and Martin Wisata in 2008 they have been specialising in mountain biking competitions – in 2020 the team organised close to 30 events across NSW, QLD and the ACT and will expand into VIC in early 2021.
We founded because we love riding our bikes and spending time out on ‘rocky trails’. We have built an amazing community of mountain bikers. We now want to offer this community network and spread our passion for the outdoors among trail runners too!
Juliane Wisata
We know trails.
The trail running race was a concept that Juliane and Martin Wisata had worked on during the Covid-19 hibernation. The idea was born when Juliane started running after their toddler son as he zoomed along their local mountain bike trails on the balance bike and soon she mixed up her mountain biking with trail runs.
We are highly experienced event operations and logistics operators and know the mountain biking racing preferences very well – we are really excited to get to know trail running and are looking forward to getting lots of feedback from our new Rocky Trail running racers!
