We’re racing this weekend – Round 5 of the SHIMANO MTB GP is on. If you look out the windows in the Sydney-area it might look a bit gloomy for the FINALE of the 2016 series, but not to worry, we have a plan for you! We were just informed by the Mt Annan team that the MTB trails are closed and our wet-weather option cannot be confirmed at this stage. So to give you a race, we are moving the event to Awaba MTB Park near Newcastle.
We know, this is an inconvenience to some riders and we do apologise, however, that way we can give you a race and an awesome one at that. With a bit more rain today and then a couple of dry days we expect the trails to be in prime shape.
If you can’t make it to Awaba, we understand and given it’s the last race of the series, we are offering to refund you the entry – please send us an email by this Friday 12pm if you can’t make it.
