The NSW/ACT series finale will be held at Stromlo Forest Park and we’ll pick a blinder of a race track from the 60+ km goodness of trails!

We’ll get some local intell to put together an awesome racing circuit with some of the most popular trail sections and always aim to feature some hidden gems that will make any mountain biker’s heart skip a beat! Bring the family along for a perfect long weekend autumn riding getaway in the Capital!

NEW in 2020: Diamonds will race at Stromlo

On the Sunday after the Shimano MTB GP Series Finale we will host our Diamonds in the Dirt Women’s Only race at Stromlo Forest Park! This will be the first time in Canberra for this event – more information to come soon!

Launched by one of our Directors, Juliane, this is a women’s only event that let’s our female racers sparkle! This will be a two to three hour event for any woman who rides and already races a mountain bike, from first-time racer to podium chaser.

The vision for this event has been to provide an inspiring event environment that’s loaded with that electrifying energy that happens when a bunch of women get together on bikes to race and let their female spirits soar.


Location

This is the track of the 2019 edition – there will be a fresh new loop in 2020.

Stromlo Forest Park

It is a public MTB track and you can ride it in the lead up to the race. You can camp at the Stromlo car park and event centre on the Friday night.

All day The track is marked and you can practice on it but we won’t have any services (marshalls, first aid) in place

Saturday
7:00-8:00 am Registration open to pick up your number plate.
8:45am Rider briefing, be race ready.
9:00am Race start – FAST GP + FURIOUS GP

until 1:00pm Rocky Trail Kids MTB Fair
1:00pm Race finish – FAST GP
